First Place – Anigma Eulenberg
Q Tell us a bit about you and your SL! How did you get involved with modeling? What are some aspects you love about being a model?
My Second Life began in 2008 when I joined to network with people. I’ve dabbled in just about everything here, from roleplay to speedbuilding. I really enjoy hanging out in my little skybox for some peace of mind.
I actually started modeling in 2011 because I enjoyed the fashion shows and wanted to be a part of that. What I love about modeling is transforming myself into characters to show off the fabulous creations of designers. It’s too boring to wear things simply out of the box, so I like to mix it up by blending different items together.
Q As the UC brand ambassador, how do you intend to bring more interest to UC Designs?
As a UC Brand Ambassador, I will definitely push my imagination beyond the limits. It’s impossible to wear something from United Colors and not feel gorgeous. I want to share my passion for their designs through visual media and blogging, so this opportunity will push me further in that direction.
Q How do you think this win will change the way you style going forward?
I don’t know how this win will impact my styling going forward. It really depends on what I’m wearing and my mood. It can be anything from urban casual to haute couture. I’m open to all sorts of ideas. I also like to be unpredictable and keep people guessing what I could possibly do.
Q And lastly, how do you feel about being a winner?!
Honestly, I feel quite honored and excited for what the future holds as Miss United Colors, a role that will be new and different for me. I’ve modeled for vendors, but to be the face of a brand I love is another world. I’m beyond grateful to be given this chance to work with such talent!

Q Tell us a bit about you and your SL! How did you get involved with it? What are some aspects you love about being a model?
I’ve been on SL for quite a few years now. I have tried many things but decided it was time to let my creativity out. I’m also a seamstress in RL and love to put my own touch on clothing I make. What better way to use my creativity in SL than to model. One of my favorite things is modeling is getting a theme or challenge and making them come to life, Finding unique ways to use SL items to make a cohesive outfit.
Q As the UC brand ambassador, how do you intend to bring more interest to UC Designs?
I want to make it a point to be wearing something of UC for any competition or styling. I’m a talker and love talking about designs and how to mix and match. UC has a wide variety of styles making creativity fun. I would like to brainstorm with the UC designers and talk about classes or shows or blogs, just more ways to get ideas of how to use UC and what UC can bring to you.
Q How do you think this win will change the way you style going forward?
The variety of styles at UC has made me think about mixing different styles to make one cohesive look. It’s been fun and sometimes surprising seeing different looks made out of items I normally wouldn’t have put together.
Q And lastly, how do you feel about being a winner?!
Winning is just a blast!!! It’s not for the prizes (even thought they are welcomed!) but more for the acknowledgment that others also like what I’m doing. That I am being creative and presenting myself well. Doing these competitions is more about meeting other models, learning new things about modeling and challenging my creativity.

Q Tell us a bit about you and your SL! How did you get involved? What are some aspects you love?
Hello, and thank you for your time for this interview! I was born into this Second Life world on the not-so-lonely New Year’s Eve of 2009. And, here I happily remain. As with most new arrivals into SL, I explored! I saw some modeling competitions and thought I would like to do that. In order to participate, I had to first be a model, so I attended, and graduated from, modeling school. I also attended a fantastic photography school in order to learn how to use the camera tools so I could take better pictures. I met numerous, interesting, and talented people in the worlds of fashion and photography during that time, and many are still my friends.
Believe it or not, one of the things I like most about modeling is acquiring the skill to be precise on each new runway to be walked. I also like the challenge of styling each new outfit into a comprehensive look that has a “wow appeal,” that others can look at and marvel about, and also wish to have. It is very exciting to be one of the first to wear designers’ new creations and to present them to people across the worlds.
Q As the UC brand ambassador, how do you intend to bring more interest to UC Designs?
great way to create interest in apparel is to show that apparel, and one way to reach many people is to wear that apparel. I will wear UC Designs at every available opportunity so others can see these unique creations. I also plan to blog new designs as they arrive, and, of course, there is the Flickr platform, where I have almost 2,000 followers, and the United Colors Flickr group, with a broad audience of over 1,000 followers.
Q How do you think this win will change the way you style going forward?
A I don’t have a defined concept of how this win will change my way of styling. I have my own unique style that I bring to all the outfits I style. I can imagine that I will grow as a stylist as I style for United Colors Designs, because these extraordinary designs deserve a special flair to showcase them.
Q And lastly, how do you feel about being a winner?!
Well, of course, to be a winner, in general, always feels good. To work hard toward a goal and attain that goal, no matter what it is, brings pleasure. I had been very busy in first life for a while, and not able to participate in the Second Life fashion world as much as I wanted so to be a winner in this competition is a great honor and is very satisfying. To make it to the top 20 to be chosen to participate in this competition was a win, in itself.
All the girls did a wonderful job over these last weeks; applause to them, and congratulations to all the winners!
And, a big thank you to United Colors for having this competition for those who love his unique creations. Thank you to all those who worked so hard to make this presentation a huge success. Thank you to all the sponsors for their kind generosity in providing so many fantastic gifts to the winners.
