The Exploratorium of Art is a unique initiative by FOCUS Magazine to exhibit the best of the best artists in Second Life on a semi-permanent basis. All the artists at the Exploratorium of Art are stalwarts in different forms of art and photography. New artworks are added and new artists are invited are added towards the end of each month.
Our Vision
The Exploratorium of Art aspires to be a haven in Second Life where artists of all levels can come together, expand their horizons within art and photography, witness what is possible and hopefully be inspired.
Our Mission
The Exploratorium of Art exists as a rotating exhibit of SL Photographers and Artists to exhibit those artists who are masters in various styles of art and photography.
Events at the Exploratorium
- Meet the Masters Event : On the first Sunday of every other month, a panel of artists who are currently exhibiting in the Exploratorium will be debating and discussing various aspects of art and their work. They will also be happy to take any questions from the audience.
- Temporary Exhibits : On Level 2 of the Exploratorium of Art, we also have exhibition space for Guest Artists who are not a part of the Exploratorium. We invite Guest Artists to exhibit their work at the Exploratorium of Art from time to time.
