While FOCUS PHOTOGRAPHY FAIR is in full swing with an incredible number of visitors. We have additional activities that are either in full swing or are in progress.
In December we have super talants in the Galleries at FOCUS NEW SIM!

A photography CONTEST with the theme HOLIDAY FOOD. Deadline for submitting your entry is NEW YEARS EVE and the Contest is New Year’s Day at 6 PM SLT.

Beginning on January 1st, the owners of the Sea Brook scenic sim in association with FOCUS Magazine & Galleries will conduct a “Photographic Art Challenge.” Our goal is to challenge ALL photographic artisans in SL to create and exhibit their very best art. So many of us are hoping to see a much brighter 2021 so we want to inspire and awaken the artistic soul in all of us! CHECK THIS OUT!

FOCUS DECEMBER MAGAZINE IS HERE!

This December is the busiest I’ve ever had in my Second Life! That’s mainly because of TWO big events that FOCUS has never experienced before. The first is the $L100,000 Linden Photo Contest. Rahnn and Carrie Parker came to me this past fall with a great idea. They wanted to put up a staggering amount of lindens to inspire our many FOCUS readers and groups members to reach deep within and create their very best work in 2021. It’s an opportunity for us all to explore our creativity, and be motivated by the possibility of a huge reward at the end!

The other event is SL’s first ever FOCUS Photography Fair! We have gathered an exciting array of photography tools, gadgets, poses, lighting systems, and education — everything a photographer might need in ONE place. The Photography Fair starts on Friday December 18th and runs until January 1st with music events every day! Please stop by as this fair has been especially tailored to all of YOU, our ever-growing number of FOCUS readers!

This December issue of FOCUS is a special one because we are featuring two people who have dedicated a large amount of their time and skill to benefit art in SL. Firstly, we feature Looker Lumet, who has been a long-time member of FOCUS. He shares his flair with light, as well as a bit about his past and present SL.

Next is our member feature, Dark Kaldun. He is the originator of the “FOCUS Campfire Photo Sessions” which is a surprisingly large group of photogs who get together ‘round a campfire to give each other critiques and opinions on each other’s photos. It’s also an effective way to learn how to fix common photography pitfalls.

As always, I wish all of our readers and everyone health and happiness, but especially at this time. May your season be merry and bright! And if you are one of the many who will find themselves alone this Christmas, reach out to your FOCUS family. Or take a photo, and share it with your friends at FOCUS.
