Buy Me! Ooops.

You need to wait five more days until the Photo Fair opens — but then, do go by B(u)Y ME.

B(u)Y ME offers pose sets for both men and women ranging from the innocent to not innocent. In addition to its MP selections, it’s well worth a visit to their elegant and very tasteful store at B(U)Y ME/Julia Style&Botox/Remezzo/-ADI-, Remezzo (118, 109, 26) – Moderate.  If you’re selective about your poses, this is the place to go!

Photo Fair: Two-Faced?

Looking back to the last FOCUS Photo Faire or to the newer Photo Fair opening on Friday, zipping along through time, are you ready? If you don’t get the headline above, read below. Puns are allowed.

The Janus Gallery seeks to promote art in SL.  Curated by Chuck Clip and Jewell, this gallery is named for the Roman god of new beginnings, transitions, doorways, and time, and it hopes “to usher in a new era of art in Second Life while keeping an eye on the roots we came from,” according to Chuck Clip.  To visit Janus Gallery’s sculptures, art, and paintings: The Janus Gallery, Sinful Retreat (135, 60, 58) – Adult .

Photo Fair Quick Peek #10

One more preview of another retailer who will be at Photo Fair: Artisan Antiques

Artisan Antiques specializes in antique furniture with quality bento animations, experience-enabled props, and a range of texture change options.  Medieval, Victorian, and more!  (Even a cool bathtub!)  And don’t miss two long cloisters full of very fantastic art!  Visit the store at:  Artisan Antiques, Rosehaven Laudanum (131, 205, 22) – Moderate

Noon event and preview

Yes, it’s Saturday and yes, there’s an event at noon SLT in the FOCUS Quadrangle. And in the wings, vendors are setting up their displays for the Photo Fair in just six days. Here’s just one!

Image Photography

The only thing better than Image Photography’s booth is its main store (LM dispenser prominently on display here).  IP’s broad selection of pose stands, backdrops, props, textures, frames — and even cameras and filter HUDs is simply amazing.  Best: everything is signed and explained.  Play with some of the studios, and you’re going to want one.  Promise!  Why is Image Photography’s ‘double wide’ booth so big?  Short answer: to let you see the breadth of offerings!

More vendors, more events, more fun!

Before telling you about another great vendor set up for the Photo Fair starting next week, a reminder that this weekend we have live entertainment, dancing, (and the start of our four new exhibitors at the FAIR gallery) today, Friday, Feb. 4, AND tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 5th. Yes, both days!

Now, on with the show, and here is LDK Animations!

During this Photo Fair, LDK Animations features VDay Poses, which offers four standing static poses for photography.  Also, builders may be interested in looking at LDK’s complete line of full permission animations at https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/11217 .  LDK, founded in 2007, is one of the oldest firms in business in Second Life.  They do it right!

One week to opening: Photo Fair

Today, we offer another “vendor preview” so that you can see what will be on offer starting February 11th: Polymorph!

Polymorph carries a full line of toys, mesh statues, home and garden furniture,  and animations for builders.  Their main store is an impressive sim, worth a visit.  POLYMORPH Designs, Tattered Sails (118, 125, 23).  The only way to truly grasp the breadth of Polymorph’s offerings, though, is to check out their MP site, which lists over 100 items of interest.  https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/13151 .  Heck, you could fill a whole football stadium with their statues!

Photo Fair Previews Week

In a runup to the FOCUS Photo Fair starting February 11th here is another retailer with an unusual line of products : Anim Angels

Look for Anim Angels on MP https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/66975.  Rachel Meness offers growing crystals in 16 varieties, ranging from Peridot and Amethyst to three colors of Topaz to Spinel and Sapphire.  Once again, if you search, you will find — and in this case, you don’t even need to search.  Magic is here at Photo Fair!”

Photo Fair Preview #5

Another place you should visit is the booth for “Upside Down”. Think of it as a window to a myriad of offerings and you’re not far off. The size of Upside Down’s online “main store” is, simply put, amazing!  It’s well worth going there.  Just plan on spending hours, though!
